For many years, women’s accomplishments were often overlooked in history books and public recognition.

Across Houston, a powerful network of women is leading change, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for those who need it most. From mentoring youth and advocating for families to building programs that empower the next generation, women in the nonprofit space are shaping the future of our city through compassion, innovation, and leadership.

1. The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston
