The TLC Youth Program recently experienced a powerful and purposeful day in the community by partnering with Hoodies 4 Healing for their “Blessing the Block” initiative. This special day gave our youth the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and into real-life service, where compassion meets action. From preparing and distributing meals to engaging directly with individuals in need, participants played an active role in feeding the less fortunate and uplifting the community.

This hands-on experience was more than just giving back—it was a moment of growth, awareness, and connection. Our youth were able to witness real-life challenges many people face daily, while learning the importance of empathy, leadership, and service. By working alongside a community partner dedicated to healing and outreach, TLC youth gained valuable life skills and a deeper understanding of what it means to make a difference.
